Terms of Use
Last updated: 29 July 2026
These Terms supplement the Apple Standard End User License Agreement, which governs your license to use Clash. They do not replace Apple's Standard EULA. If these Terms conflict with that agreement, the Standard EULA controls.
Clash is published by, and “we” and “Developer” in these Terms mean, OmniWide Media Limited.
What Clash is
Clash is a network utility for Apple platforms, built on the Hako core. It routes traffic on your device according to a configuration you supply.
Clash provides no proxy service. It ships with no servers, subscriptions, or accounts. Everything it connects to is something you configured or a feature endpoint disclosed in the Privacy Policy.
Your responsibilities
- Lawful use. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Clash complies with laws that apply to you and the terms of any service you use.
- Your services. You choose the servers, subscriptions, DNS services, and rule sources. We do not operate or endorse them and are not responsible for their availability, security, content, or data practices.
- Your configuration. Clash stores your configuration as supplied, including credentials contained in it. You are responsible for protecting your device, configuration files, exported diagnostics, and backups.
- Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms, including those of your network provider, configured services, Apple, and iCloud.
You must not use Clash to violate law, infringe another person's rights, interfere with networks or services, or gain unauthorized access.
Sharing on your local network
If you enable LAN proxy sharing, Clash listens on your local network and accepts connections that provide the username and password you set. Choose a strong password and use sharing only on networks you trust. Sharing stops when the VPN stops.
External services
Clash can access services and websites you select. You use those external services at your own risk. We do not control or guarantee their content, accuracy, security, availability, or legal status.
Availability and support
Network conditions, third-party services, configuration errors, and platform behavior are outside our control. Clash may be interrupted, unavailable, or behave unexpectedly. Maintenance and support are provided by the Developer, not Apple, as described by the Apple Standard EULA and applicable law.
No additional warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Clash is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that applicable consumer law does not allow us to exclude.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary loss arising from the use of or inability to use Clash, including loss of data, connectivity, or access to a third-party service. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
Open-source components
Clash includes open-source software, each component under its own license. The Acknowledgements page in the app lists those components. Nothing in these Terms overrides their licenses.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the app or applicable requirements change. The current version and update date will be published at this URL. Changes apply prospectively to future use and do not remove rights already provided by applicable law.
